RING PRINCIPLE:
The
TWIST'ER OUT
ring with its
P.D. (Functional Diameter) related ground O.D. and faces, works by
two
independent thread gage sections that, when twisted, grips the flanks of the
product thread. This locks and locates the functional thread axis of the
product thread. At this point a variety of inspection techniques are
possible, such as true position, runout, and concentricity to the part
P.D. (Functional Diameter) datum.
